Peconic Bay Medical Center, and its parent system PBMC Health, became full members of the newly-rebranded Northwell Health's system when their CEO's signed a partnership agreement making Peconic Bay Medical Center its 21st hospital, Northwell announced earlier this week.

Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health - Crawfordsville in Indiana has been waiting a long time for a new emergency room, and thanks to a $15 million investment from the Franciscan Alliance -- a group that owns 14 hospitals in the area -- it will finally get one.

Pharmacy giant CVS Health announced Thursday it has forged clinical partnerships with another four healthcare systems across the country: John Muir Health in California; University of Chicago Medical Center in Illinois; Novant Health, serving the Winston-Salem area in North Carolina; and University of Michigan Health System.
