CVS Health says it provided funding to help counter the hundreds of millions of dollars the pharmaceutical industry has spent.
The branding has changed from "PillPack, an Amazon company" to "PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy."
Annual spending by U.S. public programs and beneficiaries nearly doubled from $5.3 billion to $10.3 billion from 2012 to 2016.
